Poster Session Paper CINF0034
Presented by Gary Wiggins
at the 213th National Meeting of the American
Chemical Society
San Francisco, April 15, 1997
What is the CCIIM?
The CCIIM's mission is to organize and distribute items that have been
developed by
chemistry or science librarians, chemists, and others to instruct people
in the use of chemical information sources.
The clearinghouse was initiated by the chemistry information divisions of
the American Chemical Society and the Special Libraries Association in
the mid-1980s.
Three types of material are accessible through this site:
- Files available on the Internet (outside Indiana University)
Many of the titles listed in the CCIIM are freely available on the
Internet. All of those are hotlinked through this Web site.
- Files on the Indiana University server (also hotlinked)
- Paper copies
Although paper copies of some older materials are available for the cost
of photocopying, the CCIIM is no longer accepting contributions in this
format.
Future contributors are urged to submit URLs or files to Gary Wiggins
wiggins@indiana.edu for
consideration of placement in the CCIIM directory.
